Mike Collins has signed two limited edition giclee prints depicting pen and ink drawings that artist Paul Calle completed during the suiting up for the Apollo 11 launch on July 16, 1969.
As many know, Calle was the only artist allowed access to the crew during the breakfast and suiting up for the the first manned landing mission to the Moon. Calle completed more than 30 drawings that morning of astronauts Mike Collins, Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong. These sketches stand as a record of the final hours on Earth for the three men as they journeyed into space, destined to make history for all mankind.
The two different Mike Collins prints are each signed by Collins and Calle.
